In addition to the reference and circulation collections, Maly Library offers a Special Collection of over 11,000 books that concentrates on church history and liturgical books. This collection includes 35 manuscripts and 22 incunabula, dating to as early as the 12th century. A sample of some of our holdings:
Patrons may access items in this collection by appointment only. Special Collection materials cannot be checked out and must be used on the premises under supervision. Contact the library at least 48 hours in advance to make an appointment.
A 45-60 minute presentation of some of our rare books is available to the public. Please contact the library for more information.
In addition to the rare books presentation, seminarian-led tours of the chapels are available during the school year. Please contact the MTSM office for more details at 513-231-2223.
