Citing a reprinted book

Always be sure to cite the item that you actually use. If you are using a reprint, add that information to the citation.

3. John Henry Newman, Fifteen Sermons Preached Before the University of Oxford, between AD 1826 and 1843 (1890: repr. Jackson, MI: Ex Fontibus, 2010), 24.

[S]:

5. Newman, Fifteen Sermons Preached Before the University of Oxford, Between AD 1826 and 1843, 56.

In the Place of publication field, add the original date, followed by a colon, the abbreviation repr. (for Reprint), then add the place of publication for the modern-day reprint that you are using. Add other information if the book has it, such as translator, series name, volume number, edition, etc.
